Job Description:
Manages Inventory Control Department in multiple fulfillment centers in a manner consistent with company goals, values and objectives. Ensures contractual and financial inventory cycle counting compliance. Develops quarterly cycle counting strategy that maximizes cycle counting productivity and fulfills facility count objectives. Responsible for physical inventory planning and execution. Supports Finance in inventory transactional research, especially as it relates to inventory shrink. Provides required direction to Inventory Control Teams to ensure productivity and financial control objectives of the department are consistently achieved. Responsible for development of supervisory and associate level staff, including on-the-job training, motivation and coaching to reinforce required skills. Reviews all staff performance and completes evaluations and reviews as required. Maintains a working knowledge of all Inventory Control functions. Conducts team meetings weekly to communicate issues and policy changes. Provides input to the Director of Inventory Control to formulate the operating budget for the department. Maintains quality control programs to ensure each inventory adjustment is consistent with Company standards. Communicates weekly performance metrics and inventory accuracy results. Responsible for promoting a safe and sanitary environment. Responsible for operating within guidelines of the departmental budget. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Business related field; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. The requirements lists below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Computer proficiency is required, including Word, Excel, Power Point, WMS systems, Access. Ability to lead and motivate a large group of individuals in a team environment across multiple facilities is absolutely essential. Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Quality ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
