The Operations Manager is responsible for managing one or more functions, sometimes rotating between departments within the Lulus Distribution Center.
They will be expected to direct and motivate team members and staff members to exceed business goals while focusing on inventory and order accuracy.
The Operations Manager will be innovative and drive departments forward during times of rapid growth.
What You'll Do Plan, develop, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the operations and budget of your responsible departments Research and recommend new procedures and/or technologies to improve service levels Develop department operations policies and communicate this information to staff Implement profit improvement plans Develop and exceed key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the responsible departments Review reports and demand forecasts to estimate peak periods and issue work assignments Remain current with the latest warehouse operations technology systems and procedures Interview, select, coach, train, manage and develop the performance of departments Create a positive work environment for all employees and foster strong company culture (our culture is a critical part of our success and you will help drive it) Plan, develop, and implement department health and safety, and security programs and activities What You'll Need Proven ability to effectively motivate, develop, and manage 50
employees, including Leads and Supervisors Experience with building or improving inventory management, order management, and warehouse management systems and processes Customer service obsession, with a willingness to do whatever it takes to satisfy customer needs Excitement about working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of growth and change Strong project management and continuous improvement skills Metrics-driven mindset Excellent oral and written English communication Flexible to work weekends and late shifts Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP system a plus Demonstrated understanding of freight expense and carrier selection a plus B.

degree or equivalent experience At least 3 years of management experience in Receiving, Inventory Control, and/or Order Fulfillment Work Environment Duties are performed both inside and outside in varying temperatures including heat, cold, and sometimes wet or humid conditions.
Exposure to occasionally high background noise is probable.
Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
) and Google Suite Excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding customer service orientation.
Ability to function effectively in a variety of challenging situations and circumstances, including difficult project deadlines, demanding customers, tight budgets, and evolving goals and objectives.
Ability to work effectively with co-workers, customers, and others by sharing ideas constructively and positively.
Excellent work ethic and attendance.
Consistency in giving feedback regarding work progress, timetable, and issues.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
