THIS IS A PER-DIEM POSITION, REIMBURSED AT $60.
00 PER ASSESSMENT.
1.
Conduct professional evaluative interview 2.
Determining Level of Care utilizing the ASAM criteria 3.
Obtaining preauthorization for treatment services as needed 4.
Referral to treatment and/or Certified Recovery Specialist if applicable 5.
Recording and analyzing current situational data and outline actions taken properly 6.
Reporting diagnostic summary to appropriate agent (this summary must be documented) 7.
Complete all pertinent paperwork on a timely basis 8.
Maintain positive communications with referral agents 9.
Keeping up with pertinent research in the Substance Use field (pharmacology, screening, techniques, knowledge of treatment providers, funding options) 10.
Knowledge of office, county, and state policies and procedures; 11.
Adhere to said procedures and perform all other duties as required 12.
Attend the total hours of Assessment function training in the following areas:
a.
Addiction 101-6 hours b.
Confidentiality-6 hours c.
Practical Application of Confidentiality Laws and Regulations-3 hours d.
Case Management Overview-6 hours e.
Screening and Assessment-6 hours f.
ASAM Job Types:
Part-time, Contract Pay:
$60.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
