Responsibilities Promote safe and healthy work environment for all employees, ensuring all employees are aware and complying with company safety policies and procedures.
Lead incident investigation and corrective actions in area of responsibility Ensure compliance requirements are being met with wastewater treatment system Ensure paint system tests and checks are being performed to control plans Coordinating and reporting day-to-day paint activities with the Operations Manager Manage paint supervisors and ensuring continuity and communications between all shifts, including addressing any production conflicts that may arise Develop and manage production schedules and priorities Manage wastewater process including scheduling of daily activities, system testing & documentation and managing supplies Update department SOP's as necessary Drive continuous improvement activities to improve operational performance Lead FEM initiatives Lead efforts on all new parts to be painted in Commerce Park Assist in developing and maintaining robust PM program for both paint systems and processing equipment Drive product quality improvements back through the supply points Ensure Paint Team is following SOP's for system operation, component painting and packaging requirements Assist and support inventory planning for component materials Assist in hiring and training new team members Manage monthly budgets Job Qualifications Minimum 3-year experience in manufacturing Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Self-motivated with a strong drive for organization and departmental efficiency Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook Strong planning, organizational and project management skills 3-5 years of supervisory training experience preferred Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills P&L or knowledge of budget management preferred Lean manufacturing experience is a plus Why Victaulic?
