Come join our family! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST As a Procurement Specialist, you enable us to get our HVAC/R quotes approved faster, process orders more quickly, and ship hardware in a more timely fashion.
You collaborate with branch teams to manage their needs and expectations in order to fill customer orders.
Working with colleagues across multiple locations, you act as a resource for product and vendor information.
You review open order reports and expedite orders to ensure delivery requirements are met.
With your professional yet friendly demeanor, you build relationships with clients and co-workers alike.
You support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
You drive projects and tasks to completion through effective prioritization, work planning, time management, and cross-functional collaboration.
As you prioritize project management responsibilities, you efficiently identify opportunities and take action when it's the right time.
Your eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills are essential to your success! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST 1 year or more of experience with procurement, purchasing, or inventory management Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel using formulas Ability to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency Strong project management skills Do you have strong communication skills, both verbal and written? WORK SCHEDULE FOR A PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST This full-time HVAC/R purchasing position generally works in the office Monday through Friday, 8:
