This position requires basic property maintenance skills with additional on property training from Chief Engineer.
Respond to all maintenance requests by guests, employees, and supervisors Maintain, repair, and overhaul equipment and property.
Report problems to Chief Engineer and General Manager Paint walls, ceilings, fixtures, building, and equipment to prevent corrosion Hang wall fixtures, replace light bulbs and filters, and shampoo carpets Make local deliveries and pick-ups Maintain parking lot, pool, and grounds area according to established quality standards Work in accordance with Chief Engineer and General Manager to set up and complete special and on-going projects and maintains a preventative maintenance program Conduct routine inspections of hotel and determine maintenance needs Maintain all sidewalks and keep them clean and clear of debris and/or snow and ice Responsible for recording and implementing of key control policies, practices, and procedures Keep current on all information pertaining to any equipment or machinery on property COMPETENCIES:
