I was responsible for collecting debt, and the majority of them work for
  third-party collection agencies. They may also work for the original
  creditor, such as a loan or a credit card company. Contact both
  domestic and international customers for payment on their account (via e-mail
  and telephone). Build relationships with the customers while being persistent
  but knowing when to exercise discretion. Work with customers to ensure the
  timely and accurate application of payments that has been received including
  customer account discrepancy resolution. Work closely with the Accounting
  Staff to ensure proper accounting. Work with departments and customers when
  inquiries/complications arise. Use independent judgment to manage questions
  as they arise and to raise them to management when necessary.


 

 DSO calculation, forecasting and other ad
  hoc management reporting meet established deadlines and DSO targets. Communicate with debtors by telephone and
  approved written correspondence to attempt to bring resolution to unpaid
  accounts. Provide thorough, efficient, and accurate account updates on
  computer files for each call made or received. Demonstrate effective
  skiptracing techniques by locating debtor contact information. Counsel delinquent
  account debtors to assist in finding funds to meet debt obligations.
  Knowledge compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and
  regulations that regulate the collection industry.

  understanding and compliance with policies and procedures provide feedback to
  management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement. Make

  needed. Prepares the execution of contractor work orders in a timely and cost
  effective manner, performs oversight of complex shipping of products,
  equipment, and supplies. Establishes and maintain an efficient receiving
  system, including incoming inspection systems, to accommodate both present
